experimental and conceptual in nature, i work in the medium of sculpture, drawing and installation. materials used are diverse and are often left raw with intuitive markings. subtraction of materials is emphasized along with a keen evidence of physics. 

My visual vocabulary combines text, transparency, repetition and geometry. classical arabic enters my work through its exquisite form in historical calligraphy. texts or words are chosen intuitively, designed to engage visually rather than literally.

Within various conceptual frameworks, references to cycles, memory and the unconscious are suggested. My works are open to interpretation, seeking a contemplative response.
